Africa investment team (equities)

The Africa investment team of VCH Vermögensverwaltung AG invests through mutual funds in shares of African companies. A special focus is on frontier markets in sub-Saharan Africa. These are emerging markets that are still in the early stages of economic development, in many cases at a turning point, thus showing particularly strong growth potential. Target companies include those in the consumer goods, industrial, telecommunications, financial and natural resources sectors. A mixed top-down/bottom-up approach is used for investment, with a focus on fundamental analysis of African companies.

The investment team is led by Jens Schleuniger.
